What can I personalize?
Your story idea, what it teaches, the cast, illustration style and reading level. The public shop uses invented characters; it does not use your child's photos or likeness.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. Make a watermarked preview and read it first. You can hold up to three unpaid books at a time; daily generation limits also apply. Payment unlocks the digital book and downloads, with printing available as an option.
Which reading level should I choose?
Choose “Read to them” for a story you share aloud. Choose “They'll read it” for a decodable book, then select the sounds your child already knows. Reading sets are based on phonics skills rather than age alone.
How long does a book take?
Writing and illustration usually take several minutes and can take longer when a picture needs another pass. You can follow progress in the app. Printed orders need additional production and shipping time.
What's included with a printed book?
A full-color 8.5-inch square softcover or hardcover, plus the digital flipbook and PDF. Shipping is quoted separately before you pay.
